I found out Amsoil Polymeric offroad grease works great for my firearms, the problem is a #0 thickness would work better. Can I thin out some of the #1 stuff by mixing it with BreakFree CLP or some other thin oil, without affecting (effecting?) the greases lubrication and EP/AW properties?

I need some lube for poly sway bar end link bushings, they're a pain to take apart and re-lube so I need a penetrating spray. I have used zep 2000 at work and it seams ok, but I have no idea how long it lasts. whats the recommendation for a long lasting, water resistant penetrating lube?
