I must be missing something here because those levels look fine to me. Would be nice to have a soot and oxidation reading. What did you think was high?

What did Staveley say Steve? The iron and chrome levels seem very high to me. Based on this one sample (which is not a good idea) I would say you went too far. By adding 2 liters these levels are diluted and appear lower than they actually are.

From reading this section it becomes apparent that moly can be a concern for some folks. Here is a list of new oils we've ran in the last couple of months that contain moly.

Anyone have any cleanliness data on new oils? I am referring to particle count/ISO Codes. If you have never seen this data I think you would be surprised or perhaps shocked is a better word. Stinky
