I'm 10k OCI with all my cars and 20k Oil filter interval (OFI). I own a 96 3.4l 4x4 Tacoma, 290k, 98 BMW M3, 199k (Dinan) and 2012 Honda Fit 81k. Same for all for the last 15 yrs. less work and economical. What are you all doing?

I have a 22 year old Tacoma v6 4x4, 280k+ as a daily driver. All Original except for front brakes and rotors.

I was just thinking that most cars, if not all, from the mid 80s until now would run happily on any "starburst" 5w-30. Maybe some European cars might require a thicker oil, but might also run fine a 5w-30. Or is it any "starburst" 10w-30 that I should be taking about?

I am always interested In High mileage (miles) vehicles of all manner where the owner has taken care of the vehicle and can say what he/she has done in maintenance and repair to get it that far. What do you think?

We are all part of a increasingly smaller world. Shouldn't we all use ONLY what we need? I bought a bunch of $1 Penzoil Ultra and plan on running it 10k or more.

What is going on? The price of oil is falling and so is gas....so why aren't we seeing falling prices of motor oil? Both gas and motor oil have to be refined before being sold. I don't get it.

How about never ompletely changing the oil. Suck half out of your engine. At 5K oci's and then 10k filter change?

I'd like to know what people around the world are paying for gas. I know that we have members in Europe, Asia and Africa. Let us all know. I think $3.50 per gallon is still a bargain.
