Old School Car Battery Tester-Always wanted one of these

I have a similar unit bought at Harbor Freight years ago. Dead simple and very effective. Seeing how the battery voltage responds to a heavy load is an excellent and fast way to check a battery. Fancier machines are made, but this type always gets the job done for me

    10-Qt Kirkland Signature Full Synthetic Motor Oil 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30 $31.99 Delivered

With the cost of gas and the value of time, paying a little more for delivery makes sense if you aren't going to Costco for something else.

Dreaded Ford 3.5L / 3.7L water pump - How to extend the life.

Hondas and Toyotas routinely keep on going well past 200,000 miles with only by-the-book maintenance. 300,000 miles without a major engine or transmission rebuild is common place.

RockAuto Spark plugs legit or counterfeited?

I don't think Rock Auto stocks any product themselves and as such they are not a conventional retailer. They seem to have contacts with many of the jobber warehouses in the industry. Rock Auto gathers all of the inventory listings for those many warehouses under one user interface, then directs...

RockAuto Spark plugs legit or counterfeited?

I have purchased many parts from Rock Auto over the years, including spark plugs. Nothing has ever looked counterfeit to me and I've never had performance or durability issues as long as I stick to well known, well respected brand names. Now if you go for the goofy name stuff, YMMV!

The concern is for direct injection engines. Your isn't one.

    3 Pack of Pennzoil Synthetic Euro L 5W-30 5qt. for $43.29 ($2.89/qt) @ Amz

This presently shows shipping sometime in the next month, so who knows if it will really happen. That is a good deal for what should be a robust oil. https://www.amazon.com/Pennzoil-550051123-Platinum-Synthetic-Fluid_Ounces/dp/B07TRMN4YR/

Your Favorite Non - OEM Air Filter ?

Recent AC-Delco air filters I've purchased are Made in China and look like just a label slapped on a generic China white box product. GM seems to have gone all-in on Chinese production, especially since China gave them a bunch of recovery money during the 2008-2010 economic troubles.

How often do you check or replace your air filter ?

I keep things simple for myself. Change oil and oil filter every 5000 miles. Change engine air and cabin filters every 10000 miles. I'm always amazed how many leaves and bugs there are in both types of air filters when I change them. Probably overkill, but it is a routine that works well for me...

Which filter for next change: Purflux chevron vs MANN vs Manufacturer filter

That OE filter looks very cool. If it isn't crazy expensive that is the one I would run. On a realistic note, probably you will never find a practical difference running any of those three. But still ..... that white, wavy filter looks so darn cool that I would feel superior ever time I changed...

    Caravan, Sedona or santa fe

We have a 2016 SE Plus Grand Caravan that I bought new for about $21k. It is our "just when we need the capacity" vehicle for work and play, so it doesn't get a ton of mileage. That said, I'm happy with it as a "maximum capability for the dollar" choice. Lightly used ones can be bought cheap...
