can someone clear this up, i hear the Mc filter has the media of a purolator prem plus and the ADBV of the pure one, is this true?

how does the filtration on the MC filters compare to others?

ok out of these 3 which one would you go with and why mobil 1, wix, purolator pureone. It will be for a 5k oci on havoline synthetic in a 2003 mustang w/ the 3.8 v6.

guys i just went to AAP, and it is confirmed, we have 5w-20 maxlife fresh on the shelf, might try it after my havoline syn stash runs out

sorry i forgot to post but im mostly @ highay speeds, id say at least 75% of my driving is at 60mph+ and it sees about 20 mile stretches of highway runs alot

so ive loaded up on the havoline syn 2 big lots, i wanna run 5k OCI`s, ive drive a 2003 mustang w/ the 3.8v6 w/ 68k on the clock w/ no leaks or consumption. I will be using either Wix, or M1 filters (possibly pureones also) do you guys think a 5k oci is safe or shouldmi extend it more? any helps...

So im finishing up my auto rx cycle and will be putting in synthetic oil. I want something thats widely available, So between Mobil 1, PP, Syntec, and Royal Purp which would you choose and why? I want very good wear protection and ill be running the oil 6 - 7k w/ a mobil 1 filter(i get them 50% off)

If i recall, ford back spec`d the motor oil for that engine to 5w-20, Ive been using the motor craft 5w-20 syn blend in the 5gal jugs from walmart for like 10.50, its great oil at a great price compared to others. I drive an 03 stang w/ the 3.8. and it being a syn blend is a good thing. thats...
