Looking to replace our 06 Ford Freestyle with 220,000 miles with a Ford Flex with 3.5 Ecoboost motor. After doing some looking around, I'm having having second thoughts about it.

I bought this car used 06 Freestyle, so I had no clue what kind oil that was in it. The Ford dealer think they put MC 5w-20, but I doubt it, because it took a while to warm up. First I thing notice the car got operating much quicker with PP 5w-20 and seems to rev a quicker( I used a OBD II...

Should I use PP 5w-20 or Motorcaft 5w-20. I will put on 15k this year.

What do guys think of the Ford Freetyle? We are thinking about replacing the our 2000 Mazda MPV with 170,000 mile with it. I like the fact it has a Duratec motor since we had great luck with ours. I wish Mazda would countinue to make the MPV. Also the CX9 is a little to spendy for our taste.
