My wife is a RN at a major union hospital in Boston. She has been there 35 years so she is at the top of her pay scale. She makes like $80+/hr and starting nurses start around $34/hr. Minimum wage in MA is $15/hr. We have friends in NC and his wife is a RN with over 30 years at same hospital and...
it's a lot cheaper then buying 110oz can of TruFuel at $25 bucks!! I get ethanol free in NC since MA does not sell at any gas stations, I use it for my tractor and chainsaw.
What's everyone thoughts of using Synthetic Blend 2-Cycle Marine oil instead of 2-Stroke Oil Synthetic Blend for a new Poulan Pro blowers i got for xmas? I bought a few gallons of the marine 2 cycle oil that was on clearance a while back and would like to use it up? Any harm?
I have a slow leak on my 2006 Honda Ridgeline with 280K miles. A recharge cost me $70 this year at the repair shop and last thru two summers. Not worth fixing the AC. rather pay another $70 in summer 2026 if the truck last that long!
This is what professionals use to control rats/mice. I use it too and it works great.

My experience even the oil base ones don't last. I would not use semi transparent sealer stain. It will fade in different areas and look awful. Just apply the sealer every 1-2 years.
We frequent NC quite often. So I decided to bring an empty gas jug to fill up with 93 ethanol free gas. It was only $4,099/gallon. I figure i'll use on my lawn tractor and snowblower. We don't have ethanol free gas in MA. How long can I expect the ethanol free gas to last without it going bad...
The least expensive way is to purchase a portable generator big enough to power the items you want and use a manual transfer switch. Last year i did both my son's homes this way. The 10k generator was like $900. The transfer switch requires you to toggle the breakers from "Line" to "Gen" when...
The one in the house in hardwire to Netgear router mounted in the 1st floor hall ceiling. That's the one where you take 90 degree turn 5ft from it and no WiFi. Ubiquiti customer service is the worst i ever dealt with. I asked them for standard setup on all parameters and got no reply.
3000sqft 2 level plus a garage.
Only hardwired two locations
!st one is in hall first floor
2nd is in a room above the garage
For example. The AP on first floor provides like 200mbs underneath it but you take a 90 degree turn like 5 ft away down the hall and WiFi is almost 0.
Hi Guys
I have existing Netgear R6900 router with two wired Ubiquiti Pro access point. I am getting poor WiFi in certain rooms. Newly built home with close cell insulation. I am thinking in trying eero mesh 6+ system to improve the WiFi coverage. I will disconnect the Netgear router and use...
Have you looked at a Honda Ridgeline? Basically, sound like you need a car with a bed? Exactly what a Ridgeline is. Drives and handles like car with plenty of room. My Ridgeline is 2006 with 250K on it. Drives like it is brand new and i have only done maintenance items so far.
Buy a bucket of Contrac All-weather Blox Rodenticide. Best poison for mouse/rats problem. I put 5 or 6 in the garage and shed. with in a few days problem solved...
