    20-50 synthetic motorcycle oil for the Simplicity

    Seems to work OK, but this oil is hard to find and expensive. would regular 20-50 work .. Simplicity is very vague about this being used in the hydrostatic "automatic" transmission on a 1644 zero turn lawn mower .

    Brake fluid for a '03 Volvo S60

    Volvo's spec is DOT 4 + As I recall, silicon based fluid is for racing and otherwise , "not recommended" . I will change the old fluid using my gravity method . This is long OVERDUE !! What is the newer spec " DOT 5.1" ?

    Correct oil filter for a Vovlo S60, 2003

    Mann 819 or 925 ? One is larger than the other, and , unlike Saab and a hundred others, this size matters .. Mann is hard to find..some have it - sometimes-- I may have to swallow pride and use WalMart's Fram .. Pep Boys ? NO , they have slipped, Auto-zone is too expensive. Amazon ? maybe .... ...

    Volvo coolant, 2003 S60T

    Other than the dealer is there any recommended coolant for the Volvo.. ?? On the label of a G-05 antifreeze, Volvo is conspicuous by its absence .

    Simplicity ZT 16 44

    These riding ZTs are nearly as expensive as an automobile, and rather complex.. Here at BITOG, I hope that someone has the correct info on the proper "transmission" oil.. dino 20-50 ? hydraulic fluid ? Either have been mentioned...too much conflict for me... I have no owers...

    The search revealed nothing about this Syn-Lube oil. I imagine there are people here who do know about this engine oil.

    Oil sludge, a solution ??

    Both turbocharged(Saab,VW) and n/a(Toyota) engines suffer from this sludging problem. And the solution I have yet to see. I believe this is caused by oil temperatures being either too high (the turbo in action) or too low (winter in action ?).. I think that the formulas of some oil, otherwise...
