    Tools that seem redundant

My hammer must be redundant. I just had to remove 6 twist nails with a pair of needle nose pliers because either my wife or kids can't return it to my toolbox...

    How about this cretin?

I'm not a teacher, BUT... WOW. Three mistakes on that ignorant sign and, no one here (so far), or even the TV reporter or his news editor could point out the third atrocity on that neanderthal's phrase? I bet that jewel took several hours to draft, paint and hang up... but saved plenty by not...

    Who Here Has A Mustache?

Yes, that must be why the devil is depicted in cartoons with a D'Artagnan mo... Goatee now but most of the time clean shaven. Too gray for my taste.

    Thank you, officer.

Last year, my neighbor went out drinking with a local sheriff deputy who is also politically connected. On the way home at 2 AM the guy was speeding, open alcohol in the center console, and gets pulled over by a local town cop, who just said, "oh, it's you!". So they kept on speeding home...

    Poor customer service from dealership.

The margins are on service and used car sales. I'm with eljefino. If you do get a copy of the carfax (I assume it will be PDF), double check it. PDFs can be edited using Acrobat.

Hmm, just learned something new. Not a fan of Mobil 1, so I didn't know the HM PCMOs were still SL.

    Thank you, officer.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help you! Great to see that our government databases are up to date. I sure hope my wive's van's registration is up to date on the database. She missed providing proof of insurance on a random check mailing and they threatened to revoke registration until...

    30 weight

Call me skeptical, but my mower doesn't have a catalytic converter, so I'd use an older SJ or SL rated straight weight HDEO on my air cooled B&S engine long before considering a "diluted" zinc and phosphorous SM formulation.

    Sharpening Blades

I tried the DIY sharpening but it took me too long to get it done (plust I don't have the patience) and my local hardware store charges $8 but they also keep it for a week. My answer is to have a second blade so I don't really have down time.

People who grew up in 50's, 60's, 70's or earlier

Oh the memories. Born in 63, don't recall much of the late 60s, so petty much 70s all around. - Stick ball, pickup baseball games in the neighborhood empty lot. - Hot Wheels and Scalextric slot cars!!! - Building soap box cars using old metals rollerskates for wheels; the skidded nicely... -...

    Weed Wacker String Replacement...

Good to know about Husqvarna Titanium. Will have to try it if I can't find the 0.095" Toro I fitted to my Homelite. It calls for 0.080". The spool now lasts me a season plus. The speced 0.080" string was two spools a season.
