These trucks are known for sucking oil through the pcv. This nre valve is a fixed type and should clear up your problem, GM P/N 12572717

That is absolutely nasty and who would want to repair/work that? Anywhere you touch and that cra_p is on you. There are better solutions than that.

Once it is lined up properly it will drop right in. Rotate as you do this.

If you are using green anti-freeze I bet you have a coolant leak on the intake gaskets.
