    2013-2015 Explorer Versus 2013-2015 Traverse

I appreciate all the information. They want to stick primarily to Chevrolet because they've got a fleet of Tahoe's, Suburbans, Silverado's and they feel like parts are more readily available and cheaper. I'm going to try to sway them to expand the possibilities some or I'll just keep the Camry...

    2013-2015 Explorer Versus 2013-2015 Traverse

I am a fan of Toyota (my wife has a 2016 Highlander). My employer is purchasing the vehicle, so I have little say. They prefer me to find a Chevrolet Equinox or Traverse, and I was adding the Explorer to the mix just in case it was more reliable. I'd love to get a 2011-2015 Highlander, but...

    2013-2015 Explorer Versus 2013-2015 Traverse

My employer has told me to start looking for a replacement company vehicle. They mentioned either a Chevrolet Equinox and Traverse. It is replacing a 2009 Camry which has been flawless for 240k miles. The replacement needs to be an SUV for hauling 2-4 adults at times and equipment/ supplies in...

Timing Chains: 4 Bangers-How long have/do YOU go?

In 1998, I was driving my 1994 Toyota 4wd truck down the road at around 65-70. Going fine, then nothing. Truck had 66,621 miles. When the shop tore it down, they called for me to come look. The timing chain was actually broke on one side of a link.

    Kawasaki FH641V issues

Ok guys...looking for more help. I have rebuilt the carb completely, new fuel pump and filter, and new plugs. The gas coming out of muffler is solved and actually runs awesome...FOR ABOUT 15 minutes. Then it starts acting like it's running out of gas. I can jocky the choke to keep it running...

    Kawasaki FH641V issues

I've got this motor on a Husqvarna riding mower. After the mower has sit for a few days, it is hard to start and actually pushed gas/oil out muffler, smokes, and hard to start. After running for 15-20 minutes, the motor dies like it is running out of fuel. I can keep it running for a couple of...

The final scoop on Toyota corolla/matrix/vibe MT's

I had a 2003 with 5 speed. Had the trans rebuilt at 140k due to bad input shaft bearing. 3 years later at 185k, it was starting to make the same noise. Traded on a 2009 Camry. Other than the trans, airbag computer issue...it was pretty good.

    Front end "loose"

I've noticed that the steering feels "loose" much of the time. Much like the front end is "light". No big loads in trunk, this has been this way since I bought it 8 months ago along with the other issues. Does this help narrow the issue? Haven't had time to get anything done yet, but hopefully...

    Front end "loose"

The tires are Toyo Extensa's. I guess I'll start throwing parts at it, but it's gonna get real expensive.

    Front end "loose"

If I switch left front and right front, it does pull the opposite way. It seems that over speed bumps or hitting potholes result in a thud at times AND it makes the steering wheel dart around.

    Front end "loose"

2009 Toyota Camry SE 116k miles (bought it with 101k miles) Front end feels very loose. Loose over bumps, follows road imperfections, etc. I had a FE alignment, but still pulls to right. Tire shop said alignment is good, tires are not. Not sure if the tires can be causing all this. As far as...
