Very high output / CC, very high RPM, gearbox thrashing the oil and all is fine…. But small block Chevys are foaming themselves to death on the same oil? I’m confused…you?

I gave up on Discount Tire. They have Hunter Road force balancing machines but they NEVER stop and break the bead to shift the tire on the wheel to correct imbalance. They just balance as best they can as quick as they can. Same as you would in a simple non “road force” machine. A wheel repair...

You would think resetting the “oil life monitor” would do on recent GM vehicles. OnStar sends me a record of my oil life status every month…so they know when it changes. As good as a handwritten note in a ledger.

You know if that no test drive goes for “new” cars too…. That’s my kind of dealer. I hate looking for a “new” car to only find that every car on the lot has 300 miles on the odometer, especially for a performance car.

It actually automatically adjusts for load size. I’m up to date in the tech world….but I’m also an old rural, retired Boomer. So my only “whites” are those white socks everyone thinks we wear. Gosh, it would take 50 of them to make a small load. So the “mixed load” setting on the washer it is.
