    Looking for a clear urethane

The Rexthane is nothing like a plain urethane. It doesn't have any tung oil or other vegetable oil. It is much closer to the 2 package urethanes except easier to use.

    Filter recommendations for dino oil?

Any of your bottom end stuff should do, ST, STP, NAPA Pro Selects, Car Quest Red, Purolator, Fram, Pronto, etc. Only slightly more for AC or Motorcraft or maybe the Toyota. How good is any of it? Hard to say. Me? I look for a filter made in America by an American company.

    PL10111 cut open

Swapping one day a week could make a big difference. My truck gets a lot of short trip use and even sets some days. I do often make one trip a week of about 30 miles each way. Often it starts with some short trips stuff so the engine gets nice and warm. You really need to get the water out...

    Timing chain?

There are occasional problems with timing chains. I never had a problem, and don't remember anybody I know having one. They are fairly rare and I don't think they are ever a routine service.

    a 2 sec reply.....PLEASE

I have always changed the filter and certainly will as I extend my OCI. However, change the filter or not, you still leave plenty of dirty oil in the engine. The real question is how much dirt holding capacity does the ol filter still have.
