scrllock- Thanks so much, I could not find a newer list. My car is specified for 0w-20 oil. On the list, 504 oil is available as 5w-30 or 0w-30. Which do you suggest? Also, I am in Los Angeles, so mild temps.

Thanks. Maybe the ESP x2 oil is sold under a different name in other countries, and it is on the approved list but under a different name? The approval list I have is 2 years old, so maybe it is approved, but is not on an updated list. It is listed as approved on the Mobil site. Anyway...

Fantasic- Thanks for that info. If Mobil changed the formulation of ESP x2, but the bottles I have of that list the spec 508 00, do you all think it is okay to use it for my Audi?

Puzzling to me because that Mobil oil was on prior VW lists, but not on the most current list: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2024/MC-10249418-0001.pdf Maybe it was removed by mistake?

It is still listed as complying with 508 00 and 509 00 on the Mobil website.

Hi. Mobil 1 EXP x2 0w-20 on the bottle lists that it meets the VW 508 00 / 509 00 standard, but that oil is not listed on what I think is the most current list of VW "worldwide" recommended oils. It was on an older list. Is that because 1 ESP x2 is not a "worldwide" oil? Does someone know...

Hi. I have an Audi. I found an Audi TSB that lists Audi approved oils. I also found the VW list. The VW list has many more oils than the Audi list. Are all of the oils on the VW list "okay" for an Audi, or should I use one of the ones on the Audi list...
