After I upgrade to a bigger turbo, I will 100% run HPL. For now, I have decided to run Mobil 1 ESP 0w40

heavily considered this oil. Pennzoil Ultra Platinum or Pennzoil Euro and mobil1 are $5-$6/qt here and I can just go grab them from AZ or WM.

Already set in Mobil 1 esp 0w40. I just wanted to know the difference between esp and esp x4. At the same time, I am open to suggestions and I want to hear what people run

I doubt I can get to 5k miles before 9 months mark! Crazy how Pennzoil Platinum and Quaker State are dime and dozen here in Cali. My local stores constantly run out of Mobil 1 and Valvoline stuff

Agree, I personally wouldn't go pass 5k miles or 6-9months. I know with that OCI i shouldn't be worrying too much especially if i dump the oil after every track day. This is the reason why I want OTS oil (under $7/qt). Maybe a little too excessive but I rather do the maintenance than cry about...

@fantastic I saw your VOA. Thank you for sending them in. The X4 is ESP but is the X4 the same oil as the ESP by itself without the "X4" in its name

The general consensus is Mobil 1 Euro 0w40 would hold up better than esp 0w40 for my engine?

I am open to hear what you have to say. I can only speculate on PAO content. I read that high saps oils increase intake valve deposit in some studies

I considered the FS Euro 0w40 but my car is a turbocharged GDI 2022 A90 Supra making 100hp/L. I am not too confident with full saps oil in modern euro engine. At the same time, I run mainly ethanol. In the near future, I will add port injection. With PI, I would be more confident with full saps...

Understood, either products total package would be good for my vehicle. I am just curious about Mobil 1 formulation for the "new" esp line up. I run E50 gas almost exclusively; a little more PAO might be better for me. Like you said, total package is most important.
