heating oil contract - $2.30/gallon - up or down?

Futures for heating oil are flat for the next six months. I'd pass on a contract and bet prices come down.

    Nooooooo! Computer took a dump

My experience is that any program like an anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc can and will increase system problems. Unless you know you have a problem, I wouldn't run any of them. My daughters computer is a different story. She needs every anti-virus, anti-spyware program ever invented.

    Christmas Paper sucks

Try wrapping a box like an 19 inch LCD monitor with flimsy, tissue paper weight, sucky Christmas paper. My wife can wrap her own GD present. Give me paper that's more than 6.625 x 10^-34 angstroms thick, and I might be able to work with it.

    Mobil 1 MX4T 10W-40, Suzuki V-Strom 650, 1315 Miles

The rated rpm of a V twin doesn’t mean it’s easy on oil.. The piston speed of a V-Strom at 7K isn’t much different than a CBR at 11K. The transmission is what’s shearing the oil. It’s not a big deal to shear the oil. Read the JASO MA requirements.

    Mobil 1 MX4T 10W-40, Suzuki V-Strom 650, 1315 Miles

I wouldn’t worry too much about the oil shearing. The manufacturer knows that the oil is going to shear. I’d run the oil a few thousand miles without a problem.

Best selling wine brand in America

Ripple was a fruit juice concentrate blended with corn grain sourced alcohol delivered in 40,000 gallon rail cars. Ripple (white folks) and Thunderbird (black folks) made the Gallo family millions. I wouldn't be surprised if Gallo has their fingers in Yellow tail.

Cursive handwriting a thing of the past?

The only time I use cursive is to sign my name. Cursive lost it's usefulness with quills and ink wells.

    GM Layoffs

$1,100 to $1,500 of the cost of a new GM goes to health care costs for retirees and workers. Retirees out number workers 2:1. So far, the UAW gladly trades layoffs and plant closures versus giving up free health care for retirees and workers. I can see it now, GM files for bankruptcy and the...

M1 mixing advice needed for 2002 WRX

Specs given by manufacturers are for new oil. They expect things to go down hill from there. You're looking for a problem you don't have. The T&S stuff is a different chemistry than regular M1. I'd use the 15w50 EP or the 10W40 EP to thicken your oil.

    Attn: Honda Owners

I guess I need to pay more attention to things. I settled on using the S2000 filter ( Toko Roki 15400-PCX-044 ) on a variety of Hondas versus the motorcycle sized thing that comes on new Honda's.

    Oil comparision...

I no idea what THE MOTOR COMPANY recommends for an oil change interval. If FTM says 2,500 miles is a good number for those kind of bikes, that's fine with me. Modern, high performance, Japanese bikes using an oil like Redline have no problem going to the recommended oil change interval of...

    Best looking Fighter Aircraft

"As for behind or in front of, Su-34 flies even better than MiG-29, Su-29 or Su-37, so for F-15 it would not be an easy walk." Agreed, there’s no doubt that the MiGs and Sukhoi’s are great airplanes, perhaps better than the American counter parts. It’s not the hardware that makes the F-15 the...
