    Here's a German automotive technician. He uses a impact wrench only to loosen nuts and bolts. He threads them back on with a ratchet and then finally torques to spec with a torque wrench.

    I don't know about you, but I would rather trust a precision measuring instrument rather than a imprecise hammering device for reassembling just to save a few seconds that would cause problems down the road.
