    Grumbling at franchise gas stations

Thing is many of the people that came here during 2008-2016 and 2020-2024 time frame have absolutely zero interest in becoming Americans, or accepting and changing their customs or habits to adapt to OUR way of living...that is a huge and very serious problem.

Advise me on a GL-4 gear oil

If it isn't GL-4 rated ONLY.... I wouldn't trust it in a light vehicle synchro transmission. Stay away from multi rated gear oils when it comes to GL ratings.

    Grumbling at franchise gas stations

The 7-Elevens in Japan are incredible. Super clean, super nice building condition and quality, and amazingly graceful and helpful sales counter people too. I love Japan.

    Grumbling at franchise gas stations

The decline of America can also be seen in things as pedestrian as a gas station and the kind of service they offer, and how clean and good condition the building is in. Things are looking more and more grim as time passes now.

Anyone Have Experience With or Knowledge of 2020 VW Golf (not GTI or R)?

For DI engines like this with a turbo I would recommend 93 octane if you can get it. You'll get a 5-7 more HP and run cleaner because these engines were designed with high compression ratios and typical EU fuel is very clean and high octane as well.

Toyota Expands Tundra/Lexus Recall of 3.4TT

Today's Toyota isn't the Golden Age Toyota of the 1980s and 90s...when they built cars that basically could last forever as long as you didn't live in the rust belt...I remember I was there, and those cars were just amazing in so many ways...even the little pick up too! Since the mid 2000s they...

    MotorWeek 45th Anniversary

I was always turned off by the show when I wrote MPT Motorweek a letter asking about a possible job with the production team as I had just recently graduated with a degree in video production and telecommunications, and received back a odd and terse reply. It was from one of the producers for...

Thanks for the reply. I was curious about this. It would also be interesting to see what the levels would be in a full commercial jet with 250 or so passengers.

All coatings are created equally! (and I have a bridge for sale in Brooklyn)

You'd be surprised at how modern waxes and polishes hold up now. (Yes it is twenty years old but it is modern in terms of how it is produced and formulated to stay usable) I'd use it. Just make sure you shake well.
