Would taking the oil sample soon as I take off the drain pan bolt out result in the higher manganese numbers?

Yeah, that’s what I am worried about. I mean so far I don’t have any problems and the truck is running fine.

Except the Manganese which went from 6 to 12 in almost a year. The avg is normally 4 for the testing on hemi's they do. That is why i am bit concern.

Nope, only fill with Citgo\Chevron 89 Octane gas.

Will have a look at doing this at my next oil change and have them analyze it.
