I don't believe this. Toyota uses K&N air filters for their "TRD" line. Some of their TRD off road trucks come with TRD intakes from the factory, which include K&N air filters. Manufacturers use paper air filters for cost savings and profits during service.

I saw your post about the AEM Dryflow letting in more dust than the K&Ns in your experience. It's funny, I noticed the same thing when using the AEM on my intake. I have a green filter now and the intake stays a lot cleaner!

Have you ever tried a green filter USA filter?

Did you decide to keep it? I'm also curious how well these filters work.

I think an AEM dryflow or AFE pro dry s will be sufficient. I know some OEMs use AEM dryflows for factory performance parts. Mazdaspeed, nismo, and I think Mopar use AEM dryflows for their factory performance parts.

That's a good looking setup! Have you looked in your intake tube to see if there is any dust buildup? I'm most likely going with an AFE pro dry s. The media looks a lot more sense than an AEM dryflow
