Both have had the knock sensor update. The 13 was replaced under warranty. The 11 has aged out due to mileage. These two only received 15year/150k warranty.

Just an update on our 19' Hyundai. I am at 3400 miles on this OCI since the piston ring cleaning. The oil level on the dip stick has not moved. I'm planning on using Valvoline Restore and Protect again at the 5000 mile oil change.

Find a different dealer. I do all the maintenance on our 3 Hyundai's. I keep all the filter receipts from the dealer and oil receipts as well. When my 2013 succumbed to a rod knock the dealer didn't even ask for them. They pulled the valve cover and said it was good to go for a new engine.

Actually, if you read the Tucson manual 5w-20 is recommended but 5w30 is acceptable to use. Gotta look past the oil filler cap. I also skipped the Hyundai recommended 7.5k oil change interval as well.
