    Non-detergent oil in small engines

I actually looked for some non-detergent 20W oil a while back. It was recommended for overhead fans. I could not find any. The last time I remember seeing any non-detergent oil was several years ago when I was taking a walk. I noticed an empty quart oil container on the ground. It was a quart...

    Non-detergent oil in small engines

It probably would be hard to even find non-detergent motor oil nowadays. Such oil would probably be labelled SA or SB. I think SA had no additives at all. I know that both Honda and Craftsman recommend at least SJ oil in the case of the Honda lawnmower and the Craftsman wheeled weed trimmer...

    Several 9'mm add a .40?

Does not hurt to have one of each. I actually kind of liked the .357 Glock, even though it really came back and impacted my hand. But I think I would prefer the .357 in a revolver.

    Manufacturer break in oils

If some manufacturers, like perhaps Honda, use special break in oils, what is in the motor oils that helps with the break in?

    Several 9'mm add a .40?

    I owned a .40 cal Glock for a while. I didn't like it very much. I sold it and bought a S&W M&P .45. I like that gun and also my S&W M&P 9mm.

    Non-detergent oil in small engines

Personally I would always run detergent motor oils in air cooled or liquid cooled engines. There may have been a time when some detergent oils were not that good but even if that was true that was probably a long time ago. Most manufacturers of small air cooled engines recommend at least SJ...

    Will Fans Stop Watching NFL?

I have heard of some major corruption in college sports but not so much at the high school level. Sure, there is some. But I still would prefer watching a high school basketball game rather than professional basketball. There has been some corruption, at least in the fairly recent past, at the...

One of best things I ever saw on Halloween!

I have never seen it before. I have seen all kinds of low riders with all kinds of fancy lights and I never saw green under glow like that. It looked cool on Halloween. Everybody who saw it thought it was cool.

One of best things I ever saw on Halloween!

First time I have seen something like that. I have seen all kinds of low riders and cars with rows of lights and stuff like that, but I have never before seen weird green light like that under a pickup truck. Didn't seem lame to me. It seemed pretty neat. Especially on Halloween. I guess...

One of best things I ever saw on Halloween!

Tonight on Halloween I saw one of the best things ever. A neighbor parked his pickup truck in front and turned on these green lights underneath the truck. When I noticed it I could hardly believe my eyes. It really looked cool. All the ground under his truck was lit up with this strange green light.

How do you defend yourself from stray dogs?

I almost never see any stray dogs and when I do it is usually some dog that has been abandoned and left at the side of a road somewhere. Those animals are usually terrified or sometimes they will try to follow me to see if they can come home with me. There have been only a few times when I saw...

    Florida cop shoots dog

I don't know if the police officer was justified or not in shooting the dog. That will come out in the investigation, and everybody should notice that there is an investigation just like there always is if there is a police shooting, and a determination if an officer is right or wrong in...
