Genuine question from a 2023 Hybrid owner who is surprised it’s not WS fluid: are we at the point where folks are preferring to use WS fluid for its proven protection (Priuses with 200k miles before changes) ? As someone new to this whole oil obsession space hearing low viscosity makes me concerned.

Looks very similar to the 1AZ-FE (2001 RAV4) I just did gasket and plugs on. 110k miles, lots of seepage, oil in the plug wells. The owner says the oil change interval was "loosey goosey."

How do you all clean corrosion from connection plugs? I read somewhere that CRC removed “safe for plastics” from their contact cleaner and also removed the pictured automotive connector at some point. Q tip each individual pin? 🧷

I have the Valvomax and having to store the extra piece is annoying. I would rather have gone with Fumoto and any PVC hose, in hindsight.
