Was just at AAP this evening and stocked up on PP during their BOGO sale. I saw two different Quaker State synthetic oils there, QS Advanced Full Synthetic and Q Torque Power. I was hoping someone was familiar with these oils and could tell me what the difference is between the two?

I recently purchased a 1997 540 with 70K miles... Specs ACEA A3 oil. I am looking for suggestions as to which oil I should use. Am currently considering Mobil 1 0W40, Castrol 0W30 & 5W40, as well as MaxLife Syn 5W30. Also thought about BMW oil, but I'm not sure how much it costs at this point...

I put Castrol HM in my 1967 Olds Cutlass a couple of weeks ago. I'm noticing quite a bit more leakage (main seal) with this oil than before when I was using Havoline 10W30. Has anyone had this experience? I've only driven it a couple hundred miles on this change so far.

I was looking at the specs for CSB 10w-40, and if I'm reading the data sheets correctly it looks thicker than either the GTX or Syntec 10W-40's. I'm not sure how this could be since it's supposed to be a blend of these two oils, right? Can someone please help me understand this?
