    I use Valvoline Restore and Protect in my Holden L98 6.0L. Excellent wear rate on the used oil analysis and if your oil burning is from carbon in the oil control rings it could fix it. What have you got to lose but try?

    Out of curiosity is it dissolving sludge as well as carbon? Or does the sludge just get treated like any other motor oil.

    So my first OCI of 5000kms done in a period of just over 3 months in my Holden Calais L98 6.0L. UOA before swapping to Valvoline Restore and Protect was Penrite HPR5.
