Hi, My '99 E150/4.2L just reached 60K,and I was thinking of just replacing the Torque Converter fluid(easy deal).The pan/filter was done at 25K along with the TC.The Mercon-V still looks good,and it shifts fine.Is it worth it or not?I'm not found of the power flush routine. Thanks. Ron

Hi,just ran about 5k miles on D-1 with no need to add makeup oil. Last summer,on Castrol Syntec 5w-50,I added 1/2 qt. Maybe,it's not too significant.The UOA will give a profile to compare with Syntec .Is D-1 the better oil for my '99 E-150 Ford Van(4.2L six)with 30K.

Hi, I just found Havoline 5W-40 Formula3 Synthetic oil today in a local Auto Zone.Is this oil a better choice than Castrol Syntec 5W-50?It's not easy finding any 5W-40 syn oil here.The price at $3.39 a quart was ok by me.Was this a good choice, or should I take it back? Help? Ron
