Lots of misinformation here. The garand was designed around Ball, M1. 174 GR at 2700+fps MV. Commercial ammo and milsurp ammunition operates at the same pressures. PPU/s&b garand ammo is pretty hot compared to most milsurp ammo. To the OP. Is this doing it with the same clip? Or several...

Quickload can give you port pressures. powder slower than 4064 doesn't cause any problems in an inspec and properly lubricated garand

not incorrect...a light bullet and case full of slow powder has much more port pressure than a heavy bullet. 220gr and a case full (SAAMI max ) of slow powder has less pressure than a 135gr bullet. Kinda moot point as commercial ammo isn't any more dangerous than milsurp ammo.

because thats not always how it works. Our test data confirms this. Powder burn rate is what affects this. Faster powder has higher chamber pressure and lower port pressure...slow powders ..the opposite. What is the right weight and pressure?? Source? It can't change the port...

There is no requirement for #34 primers. Properly seated primers don't cause issues. One exception is Federals ..they are notoriously sensitive.

Yes I know You can already use any weight of bullet and any SAAMI spec ammo is already fine with the use of gimmick items. And for the record they are called gas cylinder lock screws. Gas "plugs" are only found on gas trap rifles.

60,000psi chamber pressure is the same force on the lugs. Heavy bullets or light bullets are irrelevant...its the "force" in the chamber causing the stress on the lugs.

60gr of RL22 gives only slightly more port pressure than the highest milsurp ball load.
