HPL users also doing solvent flush or no?

I was doing a BG EPR flush every 10k-20k miles to keep the low tension rings clean but recently switched to HPL. My question: is the ester in HPL enough that a solvent oil flush is not needed anymore? Or is still a good idea on occasion?

Not sure why it says 3,500 as it was actually about 4,000 miles. I also had a 12k mi run on that oil filter

HPL 5W30 for new 24 Hyundai palisade

I also have the Hyundai/Kia 3.8L V6 and used Valvoline 5w30 XL-III for 50k. I recently switched to HPL Euro 0w30 for its cleaning ability. I’m also concerned about this engine long term as it’s common for the rings to go and oil consumption to become prevalent in the 75k+ range.

Help choosing 1 oil for the family fleet

Yes, the Ram definitely does. Towing at a constant speed on the highway the Hemi's oil temp will stay in the 230-240F range. When climbing a grade, it'll hit 260F+

Help choosing 1 oil for the family fleet

I see a couple recommendations for Mobil 1 ESP 5w30 which looks the same as the Valvoline XL-III 5w30 I’ve been using on the Kia. Any reason to switch given they have the same manufacturer approvals?

I actually bought a 6 gallon box of the Euro LX 0w30 to try but then saw it was only SN. So went with Mobil 1 0w40 instead for SP
