I assume you are a mechanical engineer? I find this very interesting, being a mechanical engineering student myself. For now I’m cutting the ends off and running high-pressure transmission hose with a clamp on either end. It’s inexpensive and I trust it more than the OEM design.

I have them on my 1997 Accord and I had them on my 2006 Buick Lacrosse as well. They are very good tires for the price. Made in the USA, name brand, not expensive. Decent traction for an all-season and fairly quiet in my opinion. Treadwear has been fine too. I would, and did, buy again.
