I have a 22 wrx with 25k miles and notice exactly the same consumption. About half qt every 3k. I might switch to 5w30 now that summer is here. I noticed using subaru oil the consumption was worse than when I used castrol edge 0w-20. Only needed to add maybe 1/4 qt every 3k.
