You were right about double checking their work. They over inflated one of my tires to 43 psi. Not a big deal. But what was worse was the face they broke off two of my TPMS sensors when installing the tires! I could hear it rolling around on the inside of the tires. I took it back and they made...

Man, thanks so much for your help. I got the $25 membership and I got the deal! Scheduled for Wednesday. Considering the reviews, treat life warranty, and lifetime balance/rotation from Sam's, I feel pretty good about it. They're advertised as low rolling resistance so hopefully my mpg improves...

I talked to someone on the phone who acted like I was interrupting her lunch. I'll just drive down there and speak to someone in person.

Drag! I was about to pull the trigger on this but Sam's said I would have to be a Plus member to in order to get the savings. So I'd have to spend $110 in order to save $100.

Great replies here, thank you. I have a lot to research, lol. I think I've narrowed it down though...

You think the Douglas line is better than the Nexen and Goodyear reliant? The warranty is lower on the Douglas but I haven't researched them.

Haven't even considered Douglas because they're the cheapest. You've had good luck with these?

Sorry for the missing information. Tire size is 15/55/17. Winter isn't really a concern where I live. Car is a daily driver, looking for something that will last and promote good gas mileage. The tires I have on it right now are Firestone Fuel Fighters and they've lasted forever and my mpg is...

    Tire shopping

I've been on Google for hours and hours and hours looking up reviews. For every good review I see, I find one that states the product is horrible. I thought I'd ask the community for first hand experiences on brands, wear, price, etc. 2015 Toyota Camry. I'm hoping to stay $150 per tire or less...

    Sanded Rotors

Should have done that from the beginning, honestly... I was quoted$500 from the shop and my buddy needed some cash and said he could do it for way less. But after this headache, I should have just had a pro do it. Oh well, the brakes have a lifetime warranty which includes wear so I'll just take...

    Sanded Rotors

This forum is awesome, I really appreciate all of the replies and help. One last quick thing: is it normal for rotors to wear more on the outside at first? Keep in mind, they're new pads on old rotors. I ordered new rotors and I'm going to replace them but I want to make sure everything is cool...

Do you need in new rotors? I'm new to this concept but it makes sense.
