absolutely want to change the filter on a 10L. they will plug up and then lose any movement.

drop the exhaust from both manifolds. very easy with a short socket, universal and long extension with an impact. usually soak them with blaster a day or so before the work. no way around letting the exhaust hang. good luck filling it as well.

we have 4 of them, seem to do alright until you start towing. they drink fuel and work hard. 100K mile warranty is hard to scoff at though.
