    transmission overfilled?

I took someone's advice last night and decided to buy a siphon pump with the rubber bulb at walmart for just $4. It had a long plastic tubing end that matches exactly in length to my truck's long ATF gauge and a short end to empty out into an empty container. The ATF from the filler tube...

How harmful would switching synthetic brands be?

Not harmful at all... switching brands is a good idea if you're gonna do a UOA, with at least 2 runs on the same brand i would say.

    A good brake grease/lubricant?

Ok, thought my local auto stores would have some of the permatex ceramic extreme brake lubricant but they don't. I guess it's still too new to be out on the shelves here. I did got the permatex ultra disc brake caliper lube (silicone formula); red bottle. It has holy moly in it or so it says.

Can i use the same caliper grease that is used to apply the pins and use it on the back of the brake pads? I was told i would need like a anti-seize or "anti-squeal" for the...

Luckily I may seem to know a mechanic who owns an independent shop who can probably charge less for the labor. Can anyone recommend a premium ceramic brake pad? So far i have heard of Raybestos being fairly decent brake pads.
