I have a ram 2006 v6 and the oil on the dip stick with the factory fill is about 1/2 inch above the full mark.My question is sense it came this way from factory ,when I change the oil should I keep it at the same level?

I have a new Ram 2006 v6 and going to use Mobil Dino oil in it.I can get mobil5000 for 2.07 versus mobil7500 for 3.68. For 3-4k mile oil changes would it make more sense to run the 5000 Mobil? Is there really that much difference? thanks

I have been looking at the spec's on havoline and I have a ram 3.7 and dodge says use daimler chrysler ms6395. The havoline oil says daimler chrysler ms6395L. What does the L mean? Can I use this in a 3.7 v6 without any problems? thanks

I have read about the add packs an moly in havoline ,my question is does this oil keep the engine really clean with good filters changed 3-5k with normal driving?

Sense I bought my new 05 ram it has had a rattle-knock sound and have tried different oil brands but no luck.I've been reading here about havoline dino and gave it a try this time and the engine is cured completly sounds perfect on start up.This truck will get this oil the rest of its life.does...

Well I put in havoline 5/30 today for the first time .Going to see how good it works in this engine.I'm not sure how many miles to run it though.I was useing mobil7500 before but have heard a lot of very good things about this oil.I do like the price differance.

I have a question,can I use a 10w verses a 5w in my v6.The oil cap says 5w30 but will 10w30 void my factory warrenty? Thinking about doing 10w30 in summer.

I have been to 3 walmarts in my area and they do not have the mobil7500 any more.They said there not stocking it no longer.they have a lot of 5000 though.Wonder whats up?

So far the mobil7500 5w30 is working really good in this 25 degree weather we are having.Started the truck this morning and the oil guage jumped right up to normal and engine ran perfect.Thought I would give a report in cold weather.

I have a 05 ram 3.7 v6.Would the mobil 7500 syn blend be safe for 5k mile oil changes? I have 5900 on this engine .The price of this oil is not bad 2.45 at walmart @3.00 at az. thanks
