Here’s an interesting finding.. When noise is there, if I get a car wash (with underbody), noise goes away completely right after the wash. Engine is not turned off during the washing.

I don’t think it is engine, either. Buttery smooth at any RPM, as long as transmission is not engaged. So, what is it - I don’t know. My other suspicion is anything with exhaust, but in that case, why the noise is there only when on drive and accelerating - but not in neutral at any rpm

Received the new report after they reran it. Reminder that all 6k miles were easy & calm driving with 35 miles each way daily. I'll be looking forward to the next report with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 5w40 SP I have in it now. Planning to run it to 5k now.

thanks for your comment. Filled with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 5W-40 sp formula and curious what the results will be on this next run. However, please note that I was running fram 0w30 before this.

By the way, I have already switched to Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 0w40 (SP) after this sample. Been running on the new oil for the last 2,000 miles. I will get another UOA on the new Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 0w40 SP at exactly 3,000 miles.

That’s something I might do. I’ll just do another UOA at 3,000 miles with the new oil and might just bump it up to 5,000 miles based on the results

Correction on my original post: Replaced it with Mobil 1 FS 0W-40 (SP) - Not 0w30 🙂 If it even matters, some photos before sending Fram 0W-30;
