Thank you. Its got 10w40 in it now full syth and motor oil saver and its stopped. Probably the 40 weight and motor oil saver helping more so than the built in conditioners.

Do High Mileage oils have additional seal swelling higher than that of all other oils?

Thanks! You’re right. I think supertech is like 18 for their HM now. 2 dollars more and get something that works in your case. I think if supertech wants to play in the same price range they need to give a stronger shot of seal conditioners

That’s a good idea. I know that at-205 reseal works but I’ve been concerned it would over soften. Makes sense to let it soften up then get it out and let HM keep it soft

It must be a rubber seal on mine that’s leaking, since it stops it. RTV is a silicone elastomer, not nitrile or neoprene, so it makes sense it wouldn’t work because plasticizers don’t affect silicone. ATP wouldn't do anything either to silicone. I have a 93 Chevy k1500 with the 350. It will have a little bead of oil appear at the back of the oil pan and on the transmission. If I keep motor oil saver in it it will stay dry so I just put in a can each time. It works for leaks like that if the seal is just dried up.

I did go to 5w30 on this on the change I took this sample. I didn't do it for that reason when I did it because I wasn't aware it would have fuel dilution. I did it because its been over 100 degrees here and I switched to 5w30 Restore and Protect. I guess its good I did. Thanks for your feedback!
