Well, I let it idle, went through the gears, and it was at the high cold mark. Maybe that's where it should be if you start it from cold, and even it idles 15 minutes it doesn't expand much. I don't know. I will need to change it soon anyhow, as I am on change 6 of 10 to fully flush the system...

Well, I have a scan tool that tells me the engine temp. Not sure if that's supposed to be my guide. Kinda don't think that reflect the transmission fluid temp.

The dipstick port where the dipstick slides into, which is where you put the transmission fluid in using a small funnel ;)

Thanks. I think it will be fine, as I poured a gallon of atf in with the drain pan plug off. Will be changing the trans filter also, and removing, and cleaning the drain pan. There might be some oil left in there, but so little as to be negligible I think.

Thanks. I got concerned because I read online about how I needed to get it towed, and flushed if this happened, as the oil would penetrate the discs, over heat, and thrash the trans.

The fellow at the store looked it up, and said it works in my car. Also works for toyota brands on the bottle. That said I don't think there will be much of it left once it drips for a few days, and put in a new filter. Certainly better then having oil in there.

I think it will be fine, though I went a little over board maybe. Now my only concern is what little residual cheap ATF fluid from the flush is left in there mixing with the good OEM stuff once I am done :/
