    My new 2026 Nissan Sentra

I mean it only blew and took the driver for about 3 football fields of no mans land, losing a steer on a big truck can be catastrophic

    My new 2026 Nissan Sentra

I haven't done any long extended trips with it but its been fine running around town all day. The joke is with all the vehicles I've had in my life this one will be one of the ones that stays and will eventually just be tucked away at the farm because it did its job without issue even if it was...

    My new 2026 Nissan Sentra

The economy and my work has taken such a hit I was having a hard time making 2 huge car payments (F250 and Bronco) so I bailed on the one I had a bit of positive equity on for something totally dull and totally boring. Introducing my newest appliance. 2026 Sentra (MR20DD and a cvt) although it...

Possibly the dullest vehicle purchase of my life

gave me ptsd, here some 20 odd years ago when those were new/brand new I was doing uhaul roadside for my dad in a 89 F150 and saw one of those everynight, plastic heater core valve likes to break, wiring like to break in various places, #8 plug was a pita so a lot of shop dudes skipped it when...

Post your latest oil or filter purchase

decided to break way from my amsoil for everything for my brand new sentra as its little 145hp mr20 shouldn't be overly hard on oil other than di fuel dilution and the only way to fix that is to change it more often so I bought the forum's latest darling oil and an OEM filter, not sure when I'll...

my dad started his driving career in a b-71. Baby me was quite enamored with it, apparently used to pull myself up by the window and dance to the sound of that old nh220 cummins. Its still sitting out back at his place, waiting for that same kid to hopefully bring it back.

Change Amsoil Signature Series 5w-30 in low-use Xterra ?

when it does run it usually does a good bit of highway (say like 50-250 one way) then it runs around on trails for a weekend and runs home, I do ocassionally take it for an intown commute or food run just to keep the battery up

Change Amsoil Signature Series 5w-30 in low-use Xterra ?

Change Amsoil Signature Series 5w-30 in low-use Xterra ?

I have no idea what Nissan recommended back in 02 on whatever the API rating was back then, probably 3k, totally different world. I'd imagine a vg33 is very easy on oil, it doesn't rev very high, no forced induction, port injection

Change Amsoil Signature Series 5w-30 in low-use Xterra ?

I have an 2002 Nissan xterra that I fixed and built as a dedicated 4x4 vehicle a few years ago, I last changed the oil may of last year, since then it has gone approx 4k miles, it is running AMSOIL Signature Series 5w30, and after fixing all the leaks that are common on these now 24 year old...

    Amsoil Oil Filter 5k miles

I have noticed that AMSOIL Signature Series turns dark pretty quick, my bronco has 50k on it, my f250 7.3 gasser has 11k, and both are very dark after around 1-2k I'd like to accredit that to amsoil being fantastic at holding by products of combustion in suspension.

Rotella in gas passenger car and light truck engines

I ultimately find myself running the amsoil dirt bike 10w50 in my bikes (all dirt bikes, 01 wr250f (270 technically) 16 yz450f and a 25 fe501s, clutch feel is good, shifting isn't too notchy at the 10 hour mark where I dump it, and it helps with the free preferred customer membership. When I...
