Hydraulic Oil for John Deere Excavator

I ended up going the non zinc route. $65 compared to $210 for 5 gallons. For a 35 gal fill that was quite a big difference and I feel the Zn oils are actually longer lifted for wear protection. Time will tell. I blow enough hoses that I'm continuing topping off anyway.

Hydraulic Oil for John Deere Excavator

I actually didn't say that correctly. The manual warns against using zinc oils if you have the non zinc in the system. They seem to be okay with switching it out but recommend a two of complete drain and fills which is a lot of oil wasted in a 35 gallon system. I'll probably end up going that...

Hydraulic Oil for John Deere Excavator

I plan on calling them in the morning but saw several things online that said if AW46 doesn't specifically say zinc free, then it contains zinc. Thanks.

Hydraulic Oil for John Deere Excavator

Blew a hydraulic hose on my John Deere 210G excavator and need to top off the fluid. The manual calls for AW46 hydraulic oil, so I picked up 10 gal of ROZEP 46 from our local wholesaler. Seemed fine until I noticed all the warnings in the manual and on the machine about using zinc-free oil only...

    Mahindra tractor filter cross reference

Thanks. I got one at my Mahindra dealer and ran that part number on Wix and it did show this filter. I guess I was using the wrong filter number before.

    Mahindra tractor filter cross reference

I haven't seen this posted in a few years and no one has been able to answer. I have a Mahindra 6075 tractor and I can't find any cross references for any of the filters. Does anyone have any information on this. I prefer Wix filters but their cross reference says valid number, but no...

Is filter1.com still in business (9/2022)?

That's my default. Just not as easy to make bulk orders on Filter 1 and sometimes the filters and boxes look like they came from a garage sale or something. I don't use a huge amount of filters, probably 30 or so a year but that's quite a few to order filter by filter on Amazon.

Is filter1.com still in business (9/2022)?

I have been using Filter 1 to get all my Wix filters for everything on our farm/ranch for many years. They were always great and good prices, especially for a big order so the shipping was spread out. After Covid, my last two orders took a month or so to fill, before it was days. Like has been...
