This filter came off a 2015 V-Strom 650 I recently purchased. Unknow miles, or time on filter. Poor oil was very dirty. Same filter went back on, seemed well built.

This filter was installed on our forklift we use for outside work. In use for 124 hours, less than 1 year. Mobil 1 5w40 Turbo Diesel oil used. No tears seems to be just fine.

Picked up a few filters from Walmart yesterday , 2011 Prius. Always check the box to make sure of what I'm getting, to my surprise... Wire backed synthetic media !! Were these boxed wrong or is this the normal $2.97 filter ?
