i have used delo500 15w40 in a chevy and jeep before but never in a nissan z24i 4cyl it has slowed down my oil consumption in the chevy i had and my nissan is smoking after idling im currently using castrol hm 10w40 but its still using a little not much was wondering if the delo would help it...

what is the best oil for my pickup it is the z24i 4 cyl i just bought it it had fresh oil change but it looks real thin and has used a quart in about 1k miles but doesnt smoke at all waht would be best it has 188,000 i live in mississippi and mostly drive short trips
