Are there tests anywhere that are not done by Amsoil etc. that indicate that synthetics can reduce cold start wear? I'm trying to decide if a pre-lube unit is necessary with synthetics. Thanks. Dropout

Does anyone have any experience with this oil? A trucking company close to me uses it and along with a centrifugal bypass filter regularly runs 100,000 km between oil changes. They had one truck that went 220,000 km before the oil was drained by mistake.
