Seems many people rave about how well 15w40 does in the 4.0 jeep engine. Mine was due for a change last week so I put 15w40 in it. I can sure feel a difference. It's very sluggish now. You wouldn't think going from a 10w30 to a 15w40 would be noticeable but I sure can feel it.

Picked up 2 of these a few months back when advanced auto had everything on clearance. Went to pull this one out of the box and it crumbled in my hand. The paper is very brittle. The 2nd one I pulled out of the box seemed brittle too but I didn't push on it too hard as I had to use it.

The oil is jaso- ma rated( might even be MB rated). The sxs does not use a wet clutch.
