I have a 700r4 tranny. It has a in the pan filter thats a pain to change(stupid cross member in the way). I suck out 3 1/2 qts of fluid every 10,000 miles. How long can I go before changing that filter and be safe. Well it clog in 50,000miles or 100,00 ?? Any info is great.

How to change the pcv valve in a 2005 cheby equinox. It's got a little bracket that covers it so you can't pull it out. It;s like tamper resistant. Help me out guys, if any guys would know it would be you guys.

I think the name was liquid moly or something close. It was only synthetic and like 7 buck a quart. If you know what it might be,is it worth 7 buck a quart.

I see that a pure 1 is semi synthetic and so is the mobil1. Other than flow and someone says one or the other filters better--------------What does the extra 5 bucks buy me with the mobil1 filter. Been using pure1 with no probs forever. Why would I change. And I don't think the Mobil1 has that...

I pick this car up at 50,000 miles. Gave it it's first tranny service filter a replace 4 out of the 12 capacity dexll with mobil1 atf. At 53,000 miles I sucked out four more qts from the dip stick and replaced with mobil1 atf. Fluid never looked that bad and now its super clean. What do you guys...

(In synthetic oils only)Would there be any benefit or harm useing a 10-40wt instead of a 5-30wt or 10-30 in a small block chevy lo5 5.7l. 50,000 mile on engine. The first 47,000 was (prior owner) a short trip,very low mileage, rarely change to oil driver. Ps, Engine is in good running condition.

My car calls for a 5-30wt oil. A performance person said it would be good to run that for 30,000 miles. Then swith to a 10-30wt till 60,000. Then for 60,000 plus use a 10-40wt. Is that good? Or any reason that would be counter productive. What do you guys think? Thank you.
