Went though the engine on my '80 Suzuki GS1000, installed new rings, lapped the valves, new seals, etc, and was wondering what the general consensus is in terms of how long to run the initial oil fill before changing? Have Motorcraft 15w40 diesel oil in the engine now with about 150 miles on it...

26k on my '06 Sentra so decided to drop the ATF. Threw in three quarts of Castrol Import ATF and one quart of Nissan Matic D (had it in the garage). After the switch the 2-3 & 3-4 upshifts flare a little under throttle which it didn't do before, or to a lesser extent. Been looking around for...
