Second change on the wife’s Kona. Doing exactly factory recommended changes as long as it is under warranty. Factory filter. With her mostly working from home only gets out two to three times a week.

New to me daily driver. I wonder if the minor fuel dilution is from the constant start/stop. Was a hot drain after a 40 mile commute home.

So I signed up on the Lexus website with the VIN of my new to me car. I can see everything that was ever done to it at a Lexus dealer. Just had the radiator replaced a year ago, timing belt and spark plugs done on the appropriate mileages. Any other brands offer this?

Oil filters I’ve used on previous changes have a little tab on the bottom that plugs into the housing. Just ordered a Hengst figuring it’s an OE supplier part, and no tab. Does any know what that tab does? Block a bypass passage? Or is it just there to align the filter in the housing?
