    The oil sucked out of the filter housing was glittery. The engine head was replaced by the previous owner 2 years ago. Unsure of oil age. Maybe break in on the head? Replaced oil with Valvoline premium blue 15w-40. The engine does not smoke. Decent compression.

    1300 miles on the bike. 300 miles on the oil. Oil was very dark. Liqui Moly 4T 20w50 with Lucas ZDDP additive. Engine had some sludge in it, frequent oil changes for cleaning.
