    4f50n ax4n pump help

    2004 Taurus 3.0 vulcan. Can any one tell me if the pump is supposed to have a vane retaining ring on the top and bottom? The old one grenaded but I dont see any pieces of a bottom one. The vanes are all shiny on one side like they were riding on the valve body and have witness marks on the top...

    Fram XG2 C&P 10K

    Filter from my 97 Lincoln 4.6 4v. 10K, 5K of Total 5w-30 twice. Last 3 qts of Total and one gallon of Delo 5w40 went back with a Fram FS2. Filter looked good. It was a transition filter. It still had the wire but no. bypass seal or pink media.

    Fram XG8A C&P

    Came off 2004 Jeep GC 4.7 260k 5k on filter. 6 qts Mobil 0w-40+500ml rislone. Same filter and oil mix when back in. I was surprised by how much stuff was in the pleats with nothing in the can. Not sure if the oil or the rislone is doing the cleaning.

    Donaldson DBL7405

    2000 Ford 7.3 245K 26 months/10k on filter. 5k on Delvac 1300 15w-40 and 5k on Rotella T5. Same filter and T5 went back. Filter looked great.
