That is a high stress area. I wouldn't take chances. Just go get a new tire put on. The fact that it's only 2 months old is good. This way after replacing the bad one you still basically have a matched set.

I have 5100s on the front of my Tacoma. The front ones can affect ride height. They have a 3-setting perch for the spring to sit on. Normal (stock) height, medium lift and high lift. I have mine on the normal (stock) setting. They have a really nice ride. Not sloppy and not hard or aggressive.

On the '12 Accord I did last weekend, the filter is right there hanging down next to the oil pan drain plug. It doesn't get any easier!

How about using ramps? That should give you an extra sense of security. I use jackstands. If you have good solid jackstands, nothing can go wrong. But I still give the vehicle a few pushes before I crawl under just to be sure.

I can see how it caught the shop off guard. I wouldn't think it's normal for them to use somebody's carried in oil and filter. My opinion is that if it's that important to you then you should be doing your own oil changes. Especially on a '03 4 cylinder Accord which is about as easy as it...

That's got to be the cleanest 5k oil I've ever seen. I'm sure the added qt helped. I'd try extending the OCI based on that alone. I don't see any concerns in the report. How much time was that 5K OCI? I'd also go up to a 5W-30 especially if doing 1/4-mile runs

Whatever leftover oil I have laying around. I change it annually. The engine sounds great. When my neighbors struggle with sick sounding mowers, mine proudly sounds like a turbine engine 😋

I've had experience where going with a 5W-X0 had quieter cold starts than 0W-X0. But all that other stuff aside, at 3.4 for ppm/1k, it's a good UOA. Report shows this oil is working fine.

Could it be your AF box is not sealing? Do you see any evidence of dust on the clean side?

Huh? Why mess with perfection? Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w-30 FTW. With Valvoline Restore and Protect, I plan to be buried in my '07 Tacoma 1GR ;) edit: You might consider a different air filter.

That IMO, says it all. Plus it has that cleaning ability. I'd stick with Valvoline Restore and Protect.

That looks like the wrong oil for that vehicle or the numbers are no way correct. Notice the viscosity is down to 10.1? That's the exact viscosity Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W30 went down to in our 4Runner. But that was after 10k miles! And with basically the same fuel dilution. Also...

The watch was shipped in a bag? Not a box? That could be why. So you received an empty bag? Was it ripped open?
