I do 5,000 miles with 0w-20. I think 0w-16 is also fine.

Possibly. But it could be the stored live data from my last run. I’ve only used it twice so I need to play with it. I can tell you based on my experience the ICE will definitely run a lot within 20 minutes of driving. Battery life isn’t that great. It’s not a plug-in hybrid.

I can definitely see that in these Toyota engines which allow for ultra low viscosity oil the oil temp is a contributing factor.

I’d buy one. No need for a full or mid sized truck-truck for me. A small sedan like vehicle with a bed would be fine. My mom has a Pilot and I think it’s a perfect daily suburban vehicle. Much more practical. But it doesn’t check the machismo box.

These engines are very thermally efficiency. I believe it will never get that high. My last hwy run it didn’t break 200F. Got it up to 4000 rpms getting it on the hwy too.

Just thought I would post some data on the van for the team. 2023 Toyota Sienna Hybrid A25A engine Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-20 oil OEM filter OEM coolant 20 minutes of driving Outside Temp 79F Oil Temp 179F Coolant Temp 190F

Oil temp in our Sienna Hybrid with the A25A hardly goes above 190F using -20 and the coolant temp hardly goes above 200F. I might post some of the readings one day.
